If you injure there legs and have a ton of shotgun shells it could be possible. Otherwise it will take 10-15 frag mines for each one.

anyone find Dukov yet?...what's up with the guy?...I went into his house and chatted with him and his lady friends and nothing happened...is there a quest that is available with him?...how do I get the quest?

Except for "rescuing" one of the girls I haven't had anything pop up in there either, even with a black widow perked female character. So he's just a useless playboy. And he wasn't so tough either; I once had a Mirelurk following me through the door and it ate Dukov for lunch.

I tried finding old olney but i ended up killing some drifter and headed to Oasis to do the quest there instead. What enemies are at old olney anyway? I assume it's those big beasts (yao guai) in packs?

Dogmeat can be helpful, but most of the times in combat situations, im too worried about him dieing, because every npc goes after him first. I am 7 hours in, and have accomplished next to nothing, damn you exploration!

I found Oasis (by accident) And let me tell you i walked around that mountain like 3 times before i found the path.

Although I have no idea what I am suppose to do in the area with the Mirelurk King.

EDIT: Found out I was going in the exit instead of the entrance. durrrrr.

ive tried being evil but at lvl 12 now i still appear to be a goodie. it appears that 100s of little bad karmas (killing, stealing 1000s) can't even compare to 1 good deed from a quest.

Changing the filename to oblivion.exe improves performance a lot. It looks like otherwise it doesn't use the second GPU core or something. I wonder if the patch fixes this.
Even this way though, for some reason the fps don't go over 60.


There is one thing I don't like though, weapons get damaged way too fast IMO. I don't know, perhaps it is be realistic, but IMO it would be more fun if they did not get damaged that fast.


As for mines, I don't like them, I don't use them. I never use them in any game that has them. The feel like a cheap trick.

I found Vault 112 but it seems to break the main story if you find it too soon...crap now I have to go back to an earlier saved game...they should have locked that section till the end of the game and not allow you to accidently find it too early...

going inside...I completed everything in Vault 112 but then something major happened which I don't think was supposed to happen yet...luckily I had saved my game not too far back before entering the Vault so I went back to the earlier save

**I read someplace else that if the player finds Vault 112 before visiting the Galaxy News Radio building, the dialogue options will occur as if they had, thus causing confusion since the player will know things they haven't yet experienced in-game

so maybe its OK to visit Vault 112 after doing the GNR quest...I had already visited GNR but I didn't want to take any chances so I reverted to an earlier save

I skipped the GNR quest, by accident, and got the quest to visit the 112. I am not planning to visit any time soon if I find it soon, but I guess I will have to visit GNR just in case.

As for the performance, I am thinking that even with renaming the exe, the game still doesn't use the second core of the GPU. I hope they will fix it soon.
