Far Cry is another fps that promises a great deal. Due for release in September this Ubi Soft title features next generation graphics utilizing developers Cryteks own engine CryENGINE tm. Take a look here

It's a game like this that I will probably purchase due to the amazing graphics. It looks pretty fun, let's just hope it runs smooth. The only thing that makes me a liitle un-sure of the graphics quility is the screenshot of the hummer. Before GTA 3 and Vice City were out Rockstar put screens up like the ones in Far Cry. However those screens didnt look anything like the actual graphics. Look at the wheels on the hummer, perfectly smooth huh....Do you really think they'll look that good when the game is released? Rockstar put screenshots of the cars up and the wheels and cars were perfectly smooth like some major trueform was enabled. Trust me the actual graphics looked nothing like the ones in actual gameplay. I dont mean to criticize this game or anything it's just that I've lost a little bit of faith in screenshots of games which aren't out yet, but if the game does look that good, I think it will be a lot of fun and one hell of a FPS!
