Tomb Raider Underworld
I just want to share your opinions about Eidos company claiming the "disappointing sales" of Tomb Raider Underworld (If 1.5 M is dissapointing, then Crysis is crap)
![]() Anyone who had experience with the game please share it.

Re: Tomb Raider Underworld
I picked this up when steam had the New Years Offers on.So far i think this rates as one of the best of the series.
So pleased that the series ditched the idiotic story that Revolution brought into the genre (A few games back). For me the game is about exploring and solving the puzzles through out the game. Im a hard core TR fan and have played and completed every game since day one. With Underworld i do think the graphics is Great, but with this style of game the camera angles can sometimes hinder the progress at times. |

Re: Tomb Raider Underworld
Is the camera angle is similiar to dead space. If so thanks I don't want to spend my time trying to see objects forward the player whom his body conquers more than 1/2 screen area.

Re: Tomb Raider Underworld
I finished the game a couple days ago (been sick, so I'm catching up on my gaming). Great game. The camera is a bit weird at times. Not bad camera angles, and what not, but too quick. By this I mean that the camera, in some cases, will move too much, and when you adjust it manually it drifts back to the default to fast.
What I loved about the game was the environments, puzzles, and jumps. The environments, especially towards the end, are much more expansive (huge would be a better word), some are amazing to look at. The puzzles and jumps were cleverly designed too. Throughout the game you come across some puzzles and jumps that just screamed of genius. Not just involving (or huge in a couple cases), but well thought out, and clever. They're easier at the beginning, but towards the latter half of the game they are really involving, and shear scale of some of them is something else (the end of the second last level, and the end of the last level comes to mind). |

Re: Tomb Raider Underworld
Its been a while but I played the game through and was pretty happy with it. As was mentioned the camera can be a bit annoying at times, but they managed to get back to the problem solving type i like. I remember playing the first one many years ago.
Graphics were pretty nice even turned down on my 7600gt (when it worked). I really liked the underwater aspect of it (not because of the scuba outfit either ). I love diving and thought they did a nice job on the atmosphere, definatly one of the best ive played that had an underwater environment. All together i enjoyed it.

Re: Tomb Raider Underworld
Got this game on PS3, on the release day, still havent completed yet! not had the time. Overall ive been impressed with the gameplay and puzzles. Back to proper Tomb Raider from what i can see, they seem to have leared from Anniversary and Legend (I thought both were fantastic games) and really built on it. Needed a bit of refinement on the ps3, certain effects caused a huge FPS drop, that just isnt acceptable on a console. Not the best, but getting there .

Re: Tomb Raider Underworld
Too bad the DLC for the game will be 360 exclusive for now. Hopefully they'll open it up for the PC too, but given that Tomb Raider: Underworld for the PC didn't have GFWL.. it may be a while.
