Medal of Honor Airborne

I got the PC version after finding it on sale and deciding I couldn't enjoy the 360 version as much as I wanted.

The game is very fun and it looks great.
I finished it earlier today. With the latest patch.

I have a couple of questions.
Does the sound set up of 2 speakers work for anyone? It feels like it doesn't matter what I choose it just forces it in game to 5.1

Another thing is that when I click on choose campaign, the second proper one (Avalance) is greyed out....why on earth is it?
There is something wrong with the aiming or is it just me? It doesn't matter the distance or the weapon used, I rarely hit HS (like 10%), when I aim for the head I either don't hit them or I hit something like the torso. I am not new to shooters and I know how to aim...
I am talking about single player only, haven't tried it online.

The game is a bit short, I wish it had double the amount of missions. It is a joy to see enemies not keep spawning like they come from an assembly line *cough*, and in total I like it far more than the WW2 CoD games.

Superb £5.

Re: Medal of Honor Airborne

Haven't picked this up yet, was wondering how it played as I've played all of the pc games for this series. How short is it compared to PA? A lot shorter? Heard pretty good things about it when it first came out but was low on cash at the time and since then, just been kind of busy.

It isn't that long, I would guess about the same length as CoD4. The good thing is that you can replay missions/campaign and land somewhere else and this gives some replayability.

I find it a very fun game and worth the money.

Re: Medal of Honor Airborne

I played the demo some time ago. The aiming was indeed something to get used to (but you get that pretty much with every game). But after a while I managed to get hs more frequently. What gun do you use most? The kark98 and M1 garand were good for hs if I remember well.

It's true that it's a fun game. The weapon upgrades are pretty nice too.

Re: Medal of Honor Airborne

i played it on the 360 when it was first released. Enjoyed it a ton, as for the HS probs, there was none that i can remember on the 360.

maybe they will fix it with a new patch soon?

The G43 I used the most. Followed by the M12 shotgun.
