Prince of persia loose?... if it's that loose i'll be happy.. cause this is the first game in a long time that i'm actually proud to be an owner of for one of which is due to there being absalutely no drm

Not that loose, but it is a step towards the right direction. Spore 3 with online key for drm is the start and best news by the bohemoth, this is good news, all things considered...Now, if they manage to also release a patch to make authorisation for them obsolete, that will be great. Perhaps EA has figured out that online authorization damages more than does good.


I already tried the tool in the official site, for my copy of Dead Space, and it seems to work, I didn't go all the way with it since I don't want to uninstall it.

I'd rather have a good game with good DRM than a terrible game with no DRM.

IMO, DRM should just be obtaining a legitimate key that comes with a legitimate copy of the game, and having the key verified online. it should NOT limit you to how many machines it's installed on though.

I don't like online verification for the simple reason I do not trust any company of having online servers (money) for a game, years after release. not just of a best selling game but of bad selling ones too. zero trust, nil, none.

More people are drawn to piracy that they wouldn't due to this. And as time passes by and more and more people who bought the games find out they can't reinstall/replay their games due to servers being offline, or some other mix up, many of them too will be pushed towards piracy.

No matter what DRM there is, people who don't want to pay, will not pay for the game, as simple as that. The only people who suffer (or will suffer) are people who actualy paid for a legitimate copy of the game, no one else and it will not take much to piss them off too.

I am telling you, the companies dig their own graves with this.
