FarCry2 (How to open the door ? lol )

I am stuck at the mission when your're out of malarira pills and have to go to "Underground Cell" marked on the map in the far south. I have done every thing I found on the web like killing everyone around the area , unlocking the save house ,.... But the I can't open the doooor. Help me before I do something wrong

Rebelranger is probably right. Either that or the AI is off somewhere stuck behind a tree of something...it does happen.

I had that same problem with one of the safehouses once. I found it easier to just go back to the last 'save point' and try again.

If you got the message that it was 'cleared'...then it could be that you just aren't 'standing' in the right place in front of the door. FC2 can be picky about where you are before it will open thngs. If you aren't looking at the right angle, too close to it, too far away from it...you won't get the 'hand'. I know a lot of people had problems getting the Diamond Cases open because of that when the game first came out.

My guess is someone (AI) is stuck as the previous members said. If you did get the message and tried all distances etc and it doesn't open, you might have encountered some glitch/bug and you might have to reload.
Also, make sure the game is patched.

Same thing happend to me, I killed EVERYTHING within miles of that house and bombarded the house with explosives :P

Had to load a recent save and do it again, then it worked.

FC2 is riddled with such bugs, which is a shame, because it's a great game, but make sure you are using the latest patches for it.
