Batman Arkham Asylum getting positive reviews

This game is spectacular with my old ATI card. I've finished it once but I just reinstalled for another run at hard mode ... love it !

feels like a pretty damn good movie ... I believe they should make this the next one (Batman reboot, part 3)

simply called "Arkham Asylum", it tells the story of Batman, bringing Joker to Arkham right after arresting him (end of Dark Knight movie)

Thread Resurrection Time!!!! (Since I only now got around to getting the game. )

I'm having a blast with the game, EXCEPT for one thing!

In trying to solve the Riddles, I'm getting a lot of "Solution Partially Discovered" and/or "Solution Not Aligned".

I've actually solved a few already but WITHOUT KNOWING HOW I DID IT!

Can someone give me little clue as to what is involved to make sure the riddles can be solved?

Just for one example as to how difficult/unusual they are to solve: There's one riddle in the guard station (that was also part of the demo) and, in order to solve the riddle Batman had to go down into the floor vents to solve it. I still don't have any clue as to how or why that had to be done.

Ages since I played this but are you talking about the Riddler's question mark puzzles - these involve getting into a distinct position so that various parts of a question mark come together.

Well, I thought that all of the Riddler's puzzles had to include the dot and question mark. But, I found out that many of them only refer to something in the area and you have to deduct from the clue just what that is.

I've, so far now, solved 37 of the 200+ puzzles and am only now reaching the Medical facility to attempt to rescue the Commissioner.

BTW, I'm having fun with that exploding gel! It comes in handy when you need to knock down multiple goons with guns.

Since most everyone who wants to play it has done so already, I don't think this is a spoiler. But, I did a silent takedown of one of the goons and then sprayed the floor and walls in the area with the exploding gel. Then I went and hid behind a wall and waited for his buddies to find him. One of them did and call the others. When they all got close enough, I hit the button to explode the gel. Just one of those "AWESOME" gaming moments. LOL!
