San Francisco/Bay Area AMD Community Event

Not sure exactly the best place to post this ... but here goes:

AMD's been cooking up some very cool stuff for gamers ... if you were at QuakeCon you might have already seen a sneak peek.

On the evening of September 10th, we're inviting fans to join us in San Francisco for the unveiling of a new visual PC experience. Basically, I can't say exactly what you're going to see there, but I can tell you that we’ll be holding a big party with food, drink and tunes, very cool demos of unreleased games, incredible hardware set-ups you have to see to believe and a lot more.

Bummer the opposite side of the country

If you do anything on the East coast make sure to post here also. I bet you get to see Evergreen or whatever the new DX11 based card is.

I should mention that the event is being held in the evening. We understand that most people work during the daytime.

Just have a few spots left ... if you were hemming and hawing about whether to go or not, decide soon! It's on the U.S.S. Hornet, across the bay from SF, in Alameda, and the party kicks off at 6:30pm.

Just out of curiosity, did anyone from DH RSVP? I'll be there on the 10th ... be sure to find me. (I'll likely be hanging out around the entrance trying to meet everyone.

If I was on the West Coast right I would crawl to attend if I had too. I sure hope someone from DH attends. It wouldn't seem right if they are not represented after all the years offering quality support for ATI users.

Crap my plane doesn't arrive till late in the afternoon, and its terribly trying to get there from the Mark Hopkins Hotel. Thanx for the offer though. Too bad it isnt on another day.
