New Mafia 2 video from the Game Developer Session 2009 held in Brno, Czech Republic. This is the first ever live M2 gameplay presentation. XBOX360 version. Shot with a hand held camera, but better than nothing

Edit : After watching the first video , I admit I am really impressed , the story looks to be compelling like the first one and they have implemented many things to interact with.
But I am not very impressed with the over-flawless driving which appears to be unrealistic especially in the story time.
I remember Mafia 1 where driving was a little annoying for many people but i absolutely liked it as it was imitating the real world.

Damn looks solid ... and bloody :P Hoping they are pushing the release to late spring, to many others games in the first four months of 2010.

Finally some gameplay footage! It looked exactly as I hoped it would and seems to be a worthy successor to the classic.

The game looks good. I wonder if it is more sandboxy than the original (I hope).

The car driving model should be adjustable from arcade to realistic (see this post from the official forum). I like the M1 style better too.

if anyone is reading this thread and has skipped the videos, I really recommend you get a cup of tea, sit back and watch all three all the way through. the damage model looks great, and there are some brilliant ideas in there - don't want to ruin it. Quite surprised how well it seems to run on the 360 in the videos too, but I hope the PC version is out at the same time, it is the way this should be played.

The first game still is my fav game of all time, if this is half as good ill be happy.

I watched maybe half of the 3 videos and didn't see much gun play, guess I skipped those parts which were "bloody". Everything I saw made my expectations go up so I'm not complaining. It did look really nice for a 360 game and even the driving was smooth so the PC version should be incredible in comparison.

Yeah , no much gun fights but a more of walkthrough .
And yeah , licence plate change , that's very nice addition over the silly paint shops in GTA
