7 ways video game companies continue to irritate gamers
Marketing a video game months before its launch can be a tricky business. There’s promotions to supervise, advertisement campaigns to launch and communication with the media to coordinate. After all, it is important for customers to not only know when your game is coming out but also how incredibly awesome it’s going to be.
However, as evidenced by past behavior, some publishers and developers aren’t too concerned with winning the hearts and minds of gamers. Either they simply don’t care about how the public perceives their game, or they’re confident that they’ll still sell millions of copies regardless of how they launch their game. ___________ source : collegenews

Re: 7 ways video game companies continue to irritate gamers
They could have just left it at Number 7 and it would have fully covered everything else that goes hand in hand with it. Put it this way, while the big companies like EA are just pumping out clone after clone of FiFA and Battlefield and driving away more and more customers, Indie developers are really managing to get their teeth into the market.
I say keep going with the clones and eventually the whole industry will get overhauled by Indie developers that aren't afraid to try something new |
