I shouldn't have but I certainly did.

I was going to get RE5 from D2DUK. It had 3 different banners 1 said the sale ends on the 27th, two on the 30th. Be it all the other games end on the 30th I assumed the single banner was wrong till I tried to buy it and couldn't anymore at that price. They lost a customer due to banners.
They still have GTAIV for under £10 and a couple more games, but I can't say I am interested at all.
STEAM had and has some good offers but I either have the games or not interested in them. Apart from RE5 they had for 18.99 euros.
Gamersgate had a few offers as usual, but nothing for my taste.
Matrixgames the same, plus barely sale.
So I went with Impulse.
I got the Sins of the Solar Empire and its expansion pack for a bit under 14 euros and a few min ago RE5 for the same price as Steam.

There is one more day of sale left. Steam will have I think one more lineup or at least one game for today. D2DUK has for the last day added Batman asylum for £17.50.

i got grid and l4d2 from steam and farcry2 from bestbuy. not 100% positive, but i think my parents found civ4 and assassins creed from another bestbuy. wont know till xmas on those.

Some good bargains on steam lately ive noticed. was a huge pack for THQ for £26 had about 15 titles in it.

The THQ pack is too expensive at double the UK price. Not that I would get it, I have the games lol.

Today the sale on Steam is the best for me. Mirror's edge for under 4 euros (not getting it), The Chronicles of Riddick™ Assault on Dark Athena for 9.99 euros. (thinking about it).

D2D still have GTAIV for £9.95.

BTW, RE5 keeps getting better and better. I am used to the control scheme now (sprint is underrated) and while I wouldn't call it causing me fear, it's damn fun. Although I can't help but laugh with how so far the only innocent people are one white guy and one white blond woman, as well how the other allies are so far all white. (dead or alive) I mean, they couldn't make some of the black? Or the blond, why not make her black? Tsk tsk tsk.
Oh the controls with the keyboard and mouse is FAR better than the xbox 360 controller. Like a different game.

I know the game got mauled by the press, but I actually really liked both of the Riddick games. great atmosphere - and a hell of a deal on steam.

I started with the Butcher Bay game. You can see the 2004 origins in the graphics, but still, it looks good enough to play today (thanks to the update no doubt). What is impressive though is the gameplay. What a fun game this is!

I bought Dragon Age : Origins (25% off) on Steam and nothing else. It's fun but it's a time hog. The other day, I looked at the time and told myself that I should stop playing in half an hour. The next time I looked at the clock, it was three hours later.

It's frustrating to see the low prices on some games that I bought at the full price one year ago.

As i played Butcher bay when it were first released and thougt it were a preety godd game back then..So im looking forward to try out the updated one...

If only Steam would finish downloading the game that is.. Even now its still only 83% complete..

The average download for me and thats near on any modern game with a larger file size is usually very quick from steam.The Bit rate is using under half of my 16mb Download speed...
