They have Mirror's Edge for $5 today, and apparently are running a special deal a day until Christmas.

BTW, US only (as I noticed later was the Mass Effect deal).

And speaking of download speed, it took me about two days to download Mirror's Edge off Steam.

Well its certainly not Steams bandwidth causing that particular issue unless they were having specific network issues at the time - we use it constantly within our team and the speeds are generally massive - its why we love to use it actually ,we can get most games at 50mbit. D2D id be better getting two empty cans of coke with a bit of string.
