The biggest disapointment for me is CARMAGEDDON 3 (if you avoid Carmageddon TDR that is not third Carmageddon for me, best Carmageddon game is Carmageddon 2 Carpocalypse).

Please GOD, send us new Carmageddon game, that is the best game ever.

you know I miss those carmageddon games, I remember when they first came out and how violent people said they were. Then GTa came out LMAO!!!


But I still remember the original fondly, a new Carmageddon would be awesome, especially if it had awesome crash replays etc.

Half life 2 Ep 3, Indeed, but it wasnt even announced til a couple weeks ago, maybe they needed more time to come up with ideas, because its suppose to be the half life 2 story closer.

Hopefully it's good.

I heard rumours that it won't be HL2:EP3 that it'll be like HL3 or something. Would be pretty b'dass though.
Final Fantasy 13 was something i was very interested in despite not owning a 360 or a PS3, Was quite disappointed to see no release. I still say Remake 7 Nao!

I'm a big fan of Company of Heroes. I'm still waiting for part 2 of the franchise. However, on the whole web there isn't any information about the game. I really hope they make CoH 2.
Great game and certainly worth the money.

I think the delays are stemming from their integration of their new communication Overlay, The absolutely new Battle.net, which is pretty awesome, they will be integrating it with all their games. The Singleplayer for SC2 is done. Multiplayer is what they're working on.

Coming from Blizzard it's possible, but in the end they make sure to deliver some of the most polished products in the industry. I sure hope they don't take that long though :P

FF7 was the best one in the series imo, Everything was so brilliantly thought out and a lot of my mates still play it despite it being a relic now. Materia system was a great idea, plot was awesome, Seprioth was BDASS ect. I'd love to see it recreated in high end graphics, keeping the battle system and Materia ofc

Had completely forgotten about that.

My biggest disappointment this year is the lack of dedicated servers for Modern Warfare 2. I know it's not 'a game', but I still hope IW is going to sort out the mess of a multiplayer they created for the PC with the peer to peer and matchmaking system. Asap.

I was actually disappointed they removed backwards compatibility in the Ps3 AND I bought one 2 months before the slim came out.. double damn!

I'm looking forward to GOW3 though I just picked up the "remastered HD" version *cough* for ps3.

I would also say Alan Wake.

When that game was first touted it looked awesome - physics, day/night cycles, massive open terrain, awesome graphics and a very promising narrative. Of course after a few years the shine was taken off the game when releases like Bioshock and Crysis stole some of it's thunder.

Then the developers stated they were not even bothering to port it to PC and that the scope and narrative had been reduced. That news was a disappointment, I would be surprised if it ever sees the light of day now.

Saboteur is out for PC (Stateside) However it's having a bit of controversy with ATI drivers (for whatever reason)

DNF is probably the largest let down ever. Let us hope that a new Duke nukem rises from the ashes and restores our faith in kicking ass and chewing bubble gum, especially if you're all out of gum.

Mafia 2 hopefully will be nice. and Yea, I hope PC Alan Wake comes according to the development team they're polishing up Awake for Xbox,

@ Omegared, Bro, man I love splintercell but ever since chaos theory and "starforce" I've had a really bad taste for ubisoft games especially SC

Double Agent was pretty good but at the time the PC version was a resource hog and that made the game unplayable in many parts, todays graphics cards would chew that game up so it's worth checking out if you skipped it.
