I bought 10 games on the Steam sale, some of which at very low prices, some not as low. Puzzle Kingdoms for $1 was enjoyable (played it for a couple of hours, might play more some time). FlatOut Ultimate Carnage ($2) also looks quite fun from the little I played it (which was mostly to try to at least get to second place on the first race, which I did without logging into Windows Live and wanted to do again). I also bought the Gothic bundle (Gothic II Gold and Gothic 3) for $2.

Well done guys, glad to hear more great offers.

I bought two more, one is FEAR 1 bundle from Steam for 8 euros, unfortunately the game has an issue with my keyboard or something and fraks up the fps, same problem with Condemned.

The other is Alien Shooter Gold pack from GG, for 2.5 euros. I am going through the first game in the pack, Alien Shooter eh 1, very simple game but very addictive and surprisingly tactical.

ET3D, I too got Puzzle Kingdoms and it has something strange, I keep going for a few battles each day. I keep getting better at it and I like the game. I still think that the AI cheats (of course) but good fun.

Alien Shooter is a great series. Don't forget Zombie Shooter when you are done. I like the way they paint all the blood, corpses and gun shells onto the screen so nothing ever disappears like in a normal FPS games. That was a good price you got there

I'm weary of playing bad games, unlike watching a bad movie which I can immediately forget a bad game can put me off gaming for a while...that means no taking chances on cheapo games.

I'm kind of puzzled about a game I purchased online and, after nearly two MONTHS, the purchase is still not showing up on my Credit Card account.

So, does this count as a purchased game or not?

And, just how long has it taken some of you to see a charge on a credit card for a purchased game to show up?

To clarify: The charge WAS showing in the "Pending" section of my account for a few days. And, suddenly, it disappeared and has not come back up -- either as pending or as settled.

So, it looks like I got the game for free....so far, anyway.
