If you didn't notice , there is an open PC beta for meda of honor multiplayer between 4-8 october . good oportunity to check the game out, I have played three matches until now and I think the game and matchmaking is good though I can't find servers manually using server browser function.
You can grab the beta through steam or just google medal of honor beta client

ah, thanks, I will uninstall it then. No interest for the multiplayer game.

The log in an EA account is because of the multiplayer only part, I would guess, right? It's not a prerequisite for the full game for the single player part...right?

Single player MOH was a little better, enemy AI was slightly better and scripting wasn't as bad. Otherwise they're so similar I feel like I'm playing the same game.

Unfortunately yes, you simply cannot advance in either game until you do exactly what the developers want you to do. It's such blatant hand holding and pretty much the equivalent of a brainless action movie (not always a bad thing).

I got some nice Christmas/Birthday gift cards and used one of those to get this for the 360 tonight. It was on sale at Best Buy. (FWIW, Best Buy is NOT one of my favorite places to shop, but the gift card was good only there.) I've played a bit of it so far and it does look and play pretty good...so far. I'm doing the Campaign.

It was, though if you believed the reviews that trashed MoH you'd think it was terrible. Black Ops had the star power and a better storyline but for gameplay MoH had it beat by a mile and that's what counts.
