I've never really bothered the entire genres that games like Pokemon and Sonic fall into, but yeah I can imagine that if you have done your list might be kinda epic :P

Re: List of games you've completed

Despite the fact I've listed 170 completions (some of them the same game on different platforms) I'm not convinced that's all of them.

I couldn't be bothered to list the Pokémon games' platforms.

Tak, I can firmly believe you forgot some, because I'm sure I have as well. I've been gaming since I was 3, so.

Oh I know. I can put all my learning games from kindergarten!

I also vouch that I may be the youngest regular member on these forums ^^

Considering the system spec, that's quite disturbing.

I didn't play any computer games when I was really young. My first console was a Gameboy somewhere in the region of 1990. My first non-handheld console was a MegaDrive 2, which I think was either 1992 or 1993 and from there I played Sonic 2 about a billion times, later beaten by Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I'm 17 and a programmer at Harvard in my spare time (aka over breaks...go go Department of Psych! ♥). Nice to meet you. Most of the money I earn goes towards being a broke high schooler -- and by that, I mean my computer. A good portion goes towards random things (360, Wii, TV) or into savings for later usage.

Also..hear back from unis in april, blixx which do you attend? Unfortunately didn't apply to any in the UK (have family in London).

I'm at Oxford Uni.

Fair enough. I work as a cook in my holidays (which are longer than my terms), but I tend to bank the money rather than spending it when I have spare :P

I'm going to actually bank my money once I go off to uni somewhere, but...until then

And yum. What manner of food? Like, at a restaurant, greasy spoon, bar..?

And pardon me, but that isn't different than the University of Oxford is it? (There are several of these in the US -- gets quite annoying differentiating between them). Either way, good job ol chap :P

Back to subject on hand...Just picked up LoL. Good game.

Little Chef. I don't think you have them in the US, but they're traditionally roadside fried breakfast and burger restaurants. The one I work for was the first of three to be features on a TV show a while ago where the menu and practices were radically changed by a celebrity chef, and as such we do sell some healthier foods too, and it's also the busiest restaurant in the chain.

No, it's the same thing as the University of Oxford. You know, the famous one :P And thanks

Just finished Half Life 2 Ep 2. Wow , it is really great , I am already looking forward to EP3. The last mission in EP2 was really tough but entertaining at the same time. Currently playing Defense Grid (Very nice tower defense game) and Amnesia.

Darksiders - PC
Good game. Long, too. For those of you that haven't heard of it, it's kind of like a cross between Devil May Cry and Uncharted - hack & slash with a good few puzzles involved.

Re: List of games you've completed

I'm horrible at finishing games. I haven't even finished both Half-Life 1 and 2 and the episodes after it!

Only PC games I've finished:
- Crysis Warhead (I gave up on Crysis when I was inside the Alien ship)
- Mass Effect 1 and 2
- Call of Duty 4 ( but not 2, WaW and Black Ops, I think I'm two missions away from finishing Black Ops)
- Battlefield Bad Company 2
- StarCraft I and II (but not WarCraft 2 and 3)
- Plants vs Zombies!
- Duke Nukem
- Shadow Warrior
- Quake I (but not Doom, Doom 2, or Quake II, I haven't played Quake IV and Doom III)
- Metro 2033 (short game)
- Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas (but not Fallout 1 and 2)
- Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge (but not Red Alert 3)
- Bioshock I (but not Bioshock 2)
- Batman Arkham Asylum
- Portal
- Arcanum

Re: List of games you've completed

My list would be short as I don't remember tham all. But the systems start with.

VIC 20

C-64

Amiga 500+

Amiga 2000

PC 486 Win 3.1

PC P133 Win 95

PC P233 Win 95/98se

PC AMD 1000TB 98se/XP

current system (see specs.)

Why did I name the system and not the games. To many to list and even more I've forgotten.

Re: List of games you've completed

My list wouldn't be that long, but it spans over too much time for me to remember everything. Oldest stuff? Manic Miner on Spectrum (by cheating, and even then it was hard work! today's kids are spoiled and have it easy, you no longer even need to find a med-kit, the character heals itself back in my day, it was instant death, strictly limited number of lives for the whole game and no saving :geezer_smiley: ).

Then there were my early PC days, Disney's Aladdin, Apogee Software's (later 3D Realms) Bio Menace, the original Prince of Persia (although I haven't really completed that one until nostalgia hit me a year or two ago) and Supaplex spring to mind (actually, I only finished around 87 levels out of 111, but it remains one of my all time favourites).

Out of the newer stuff? HL2 games, I think I completed (nearly) all the challenges in Burnout Paradise, some smaller games such as Braid... and as of yesterday I have all the achievements in Plants vs Zombies!

EDIT: Three more titles more than worth mentioning: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Defense Grid and Trine.

Stygian.. f'ing worm. Probably the one part of the game I hated as it took way too long to kill him, plus it was just so monotonous.

There's 3 parts to this. First part is to kill off the little guys he spawns. Second part he'll pop up to chase you, stay ahead of him using boost, lock on, and shoot him in the mouth with your gun (Mercy). The first time he does it (if I remember correctly) you have to destroy the armour/metal mask he's wearing with your sword (can't remember if this happens before or after he begins spawning the little guys). Third part is the same as the second, only he'll come up from under you first before chasing you. At least I think that was the sequence. Rinse, and repeat for about 15-20 minutes.

It's easier to beat him if you've been upgrading Mercy. For me it took a while longer (30 mins I think) because I was putting points into other abilities.

I get to the part where the little guys spawn, after you destroy that armour and he chases you while you shoot his mouth. but those little buggers keep killing me. I'll try again once my new laptop arrives.

Re: List of games you've completed

This is one of these threads that I like but feel like it would take me too much time to reply to. Last game I finished was The Tiny Bang Story. There are many other casual games on the list I'm sure nobody has heard of. One game I remember not finishing was Warcraft 3. I got to the last mission and felt that I played enough so didn't play it. I did finish Warcraft 2.

Re: List of games you've completed

Wow. Going back to the days of old I couldn't remember 98% of the games I've beaten. I'll just name a few memorable ones.

The Legend of Zelda 1,2
Rush N' Attack
Double Dragon
Commando
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Kung Fu
Contra (with the cheat of course)
Metroid
Super Mario Bros. 1,2,3
Ninja Gaiden 1,2,3
Wizards and Warriors
Legend of Kane
Spy Hunter
Final Fantasy
Shinobi
After Burner
Sword of Vermillion
Phantasy Star 2
R-Type
Tomb Raider 1,2
Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen
Resident Evil 1,2,4,5
007 Golden Eye
KotOR 1,2
Amped
Halo, 1,2,3,ODST
CoD 1,4,5,6,7
Fallout 3
Commandos 1,2
... way too many systems, way too many games.
the last game I beat was either Portal 2 or Demon Souls.
