Few more days, I keep watching videos from GTPlanet.net....the game is absolutely insane. Online play has had minimal discussion, hopefully it delivers. Looking like a game that's really blurry what's real and game.

It's like past GTs, you never do open road races. But the top gear race track is open to mess around on. Theres too much in the game but they didnt talk too much about online play.

I saw the shadows on and in the cars, its really messed up blocky shadows. What were they doing??? Not even gt4 had crappy ones like that

Reviews is raining since the embargo ended today, I guess that most complaint were about long loading times, damaging model , some graphics issues on tracks/standard cars/shadows and the online component.

it wouldnt sell in the same amounts as a PS3 release with the rampant piracy... and constant complaints of it being too hard on the system and stability. PC gaming isnt what it was before the 360/PS3 unfortunately. We have to get over that.

I'm sorry don't take any offense to this specifically....

I get really annoyed when people think a second party title will go multi platform. It's kinda common sense they next to never release it. Especially nowadays where manufacturers are tryin to tie in external services and Internet to their gaming platforms, not ship it out to PC.

I'm not calling you stupid, but it's not one of those games you should not have any hope for. One good way to summarize GT5 is that it is truly the driving simulator. But also that's it fault that it's more hardcore and technical than ever.

I have to agree that dedicated PC only gamers have no one to blame but themselves. This is what you get with constant piracy, no matter what the reason or the excuse for it.

Prefer to see things going even worse when the next generation of consoles appear.
With games approaching the 100mil in development costs, I fear there will even more consoles exclusives.

Every gamer who has downloaded/bought/"borrowed" an illegal copy, has a share of the blame.

Just got my copy today got warn you it will take 20mins to installed on hard drive . by way I'm way broke spend $120 with two 20 buck psn card plus NFS HP game last week I think I spent $160 pass two week no black Friday for me lol.

Don't want to go offtopic but I disagree with you, development costs going up= less exclusives for any console except from first party studios like PD in this case. If publishers would spend millions on a game they'd rather have it on multiplatform to sell more.
I don't see a problem with a dedicated PC guys , myself included, I have tried one console the PS1 and will never play on a console again, that's my preference. If I won't be getting decent games on PC then I will quit gaming as a whole.

Not defending piracy but already all systems are hacked including PS3 itself with GT5 appearing on torrent sites days prior to release. It is only the open nature of the PC (Which is an advantage mostly) plus the fact that almost everyone has a PC that make it somewhat easier to pirate and allows publishers to screw customers back with DRM . If publishers could bring their own DRM to PS3/X360 they wouldn't hesistate a second that's for sure.

Except that most games require you to purchase them for full enjoyment now anyway, so this argument for why it's a bad idea to develop games for PC seems to loose water every day. Furthermore, many PC games do still make a huge profit, and if that's not what these businesses want, what is?

I deny entirely that PC gaming is dying. Yes there are console exclusives, but there are PC exclusives too, and there's no reason why the dedicated PC gamer can't still keep himself busy with fantastic games. You don't have to spend long on GH to realise how many great releases there have been for PC this year.

I just love racing games and I'm so extremely disappointed with F1 2010 and the way Codemaster treats the F1 fans and that the don't give a **** about the bugs anymore.

I can definately afford a PS3 and this game.. but I think I'm gonna go find some retailer where I can test it a little bit to see if it's what I want or not.

Daemon Souls, Uncharted 1+2, Killzone 2, Infamous, Wipeout HD,Solid Gear 4, Resistance Fall of Man (the PS3 version, not the PS2), Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, are some of the best games of their types, PS3 exclusive too.
