Nothing AAA there at great discounts, but there are some games I would have bought if I didn't already own them. Serious Sam is at a pretty good price, bought it for more. Already have Mirror's Edge, Machinarium and KotR.

KotR is great, I have it on discs, though no idea where said discs are. I would get it, but I am not sure if I will manage to play the game before 2013 or so. Is it updated at all for modern systems?

Crysis looks like a really great deal. It's infamous for its hardware requirements, but apart from that, I've heard a lot of good things about the gameplay and the demo wasn't half bad either.
Still, I just picked up RFG, which isn't the prettiest game around yet apparently needs decent hardware as well, preferably more than two CPU cores for when buildings start to collapse and it's not too easy on the GPU either, but it seems fun so no new games for me for a while.

Mig, you're gonna want to change "Welcome to Steam £10.77" to "Hearts of Iron III Complete Pack £10.77".
As for the sale.. another iffy one. Dead Space is worth it if you haven't already played it. Actually it's a must. Awesome game. Plus The Ball is another one on that list worth checking out if you haven't already. Not a great game, but good.

I'm very tempted by City of Heroes. Played that for years, and liked it, just grew too casual to warrant the monthly $15. I will probably never go back to it unless it becomes free to play, but $10 to play a little more and see what's new doesn't sound too high.

Btw, Amazon is offering a sale on a select titles (most of them are console version) but there are a few pc titles too, for example you can grab Mafia II digital version for 12.5$.
Edit: and there are some impressive sales in "download games" section like GTA IV for 5$ , Bioshock2 for 5 too, Football manager 11 (I think it ciuld be activated on steam) for 20$, Battle field Bad company 2 for 10.20$ and

That Amazon sale is pretty impressive. 75% off on a large list of games, some of them pretty decent. Unfortunately it's US only, so I can't buy any of them.

I've just noticed that Amnesia discounted even further if you own any Penumbra game, great , what's more cool that I got Penumbra overtu along in Humble indie Bundle 1 , and that humble bundle I got for free after buying the Humble bundle 2.

Good deal, though.BTW, I bought the City of Heroes game, but unfortunately (as usual) got an EU key which I'll have to get support to replace with a US one (as happened with other keys I had in the past), since my old account is US. I wish they'd just make all keys world wide. It would be so much easier. |
