Now why hasn't anyone made a game like this?

Seriously, I'd likely buy a game that's nascar 2011 Moon edition.. or shit just put it in as a bonus track or something..

Adjust for gravity lvls... would be a damn fun time..

Sure it's like some of the other games like rollcage.. just without the power ups.. but i miss the games..... realistic physics racing on the moon or on other planets.. like jupiter.. would be cool as hell..

I think racing games appeal to people who demand realism in all aspects and while racing on the moon would appeal to a wider audience (because it's cool!) the racing fanatics that buy these games would be repulsed by the idea. Perhaps it could work as a mod for one of the better racing sims.

There was a game in 94 IIRC which was an arcade racer where you could play on the moon or mars, I forget. Perhaps it was Big Red Race, but whatever it was, it exists. I remember playing it.

mods generally aren't all that great AND have very little to no market/audiance penetration at all.

Any people that would have a fit over an "optional" race mode or place outside of the normal should be shot point blank.. seriously why in the hell do some people have a fit over an "OPTION" in which THEY do not need to use/play/whatever.

It irks me so damn much when people hate it when more options are presented.... bad enough people still hate people that have options such as the type of cloths they wear, the hairstyles, colors, tatoos.. and shit...

it's totally absurd and stupid.

1: true..... there wouldn't be.. course you would be able to hear your own vehicle which is mostly what you hear in other games, very little for abient sound really.

2: indeed, a more "made for the moon" style race car would make sense... obviously without any air (even if there is a very super weak atmosphere on the moon, very thin).... there is essentially no air of any type there anyways, so spoilers and such would be mostly useless, but then again so would arrow dynamics for the most part.

Thats why I like and still play old game Carmageddon 2, on the level you can pick lots of different mods such as lunar gravity, jupiter gravity......and your car will behave exactly like that and that is very very fun. If you make additional effort you can download lots of addon cars,maps(maybe made as a planet), game mods such as Seduction of Destruction....

The best game ever.

My best recommendation.
