after having a nintendo Wii first.... then nearly a year and a half later a Xbox360...... and then saturday this weekend..... i splurged, did the plunge and got something i mostly swore to everyone i wouldn't personally own most likely...


I am the relatively happy owner for a PlayStation 3

The newest generation of it.. the slim version 160gb model.

Worth noting is i picked up at futureshop due to the multiple bundle deal... everything for 299 for a about a 450 value.

console, controller, free game, and a extra controller+game pack which i picked God of war Collection for ps3

It came with bioshock 2... which i'm not interested in at all...

however the god of war 1 and 2 enhance/updated eddition was of great interest..

oh and of course grand trismo 5

Enjoying the god of war as my own game instead of playing someone elses excisting game .... quite enjoying it... lost track of time last night and found myself playing and still awake at 4am....

Hey Judas added me PSN ID robertmc8 this my slims bundle for 299 came with 50 buck gift card too on way in mail . lol they just sold out Sony - PlayStation 3 (160GB) with LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers and Cars one hehe. that version I got. Just get 320gig hard drive around 60 bucks it's worth it Judas I still have 247gigs left I think from 289gigs .

i doubt i'll use the full 160gb on the ps3 i've got.. no need to upgrade.. if anything i would downgrade lol..

GT5, like it's predesessors... SOME of the cars to me do not handle at all like they do in real life.... just saying...

oh and i'm a little miffed and can't comprehend why when i've purchased a custom transmission.. why in the hell can't i get modify each ratios setting individualy? It's like a special cheat code has to be put in so you arne't stuck with "bigginners" options to only adjust top speed up or down..... atm that's my main gripe.. and no i haven't looked it up on the internet yet.

I wanna check out GT5 how do you like it? The only thing I really miss from the xbox i had (before trading it for a ps3 that could play the ps2 games mostly) was forza. I have heard good things about GT but havent gotten around to really looking at it.

graphics are damn good of course.. only a few really bad eyesoars which likely have already been mentioned such as terrible shadows.. and shotty car damage (still)...

i haven't got deep enough into the game yet.....

i bought the original version of PS3 when it first came out ..... i ended up giving it to my nephew after a few months because i hardly ever played it ... as i prefer pc gaming

I'm an XBOX360 fan myself, and it's quite enough for me right now.
Actually, I'm with FuNsTeR - a big PC fan.
If you'll check my specs you'll see my PC is a beats, for I'm a graphics fanatic and nothing can beat PC graphics...

Well, no dougt though that consoles are much more fun with friends.
Id'e reccomend some co-op games....
