FPS LAN Co-op mode...

Hooking up with a couple of friends two weeks from now for an actual LAN party (helping him move so it's an excuse to actually do this for once).

LAN based co-op mode games we've got on deck are Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare 1 and 2, Rainbow Six Vegas, RB6 Lockdown, Vegas 2 can be downloaded for about 10$ at some places... any ideas for anything else co-op?

Nova Logic's Delta Force series used to be great for this but they've really gone down hill if they aren't already out of business. They haven't come out with anything new for a long ass time.

Ideas?

You can try Borderlands, Left 4 Dead (1 and 2) and CoD WaW. All of the have nice co-op campaigns.
You can find L4D cheap on steam's sale
I have played all the above on local co-op and i loved them.

Re: FPS LAN Co-op mode...

The Left 4 Dead 2 co-op 4-player story should be great fun if you don't mind some lighter type of action. And I don't generally plug for Steam but they have it real cheap for another 21 hours, if you can get them to buy it in time. There's even a four-pack that I'm tempted to get, if only I knew when my aging chums would be up for a LAN next time...

Well, if you like fps mad games, I think that the serious sam series are very funny games. You will kill rare monster like mad, itīs all about shooting and not thinking.
