Which multiplayer games to play with my GF

Hi!

My girlfriend has a notebook which has an Intel Core i3 CPU, 4 GB of DDR3 memory, and a Radeon HD 5470 with 1GB DDR3 and a 17" screen with 1600x900 resolution.

Because we are spending lots of time together and she likes to play all kinds of games too, I was wondering which multiplayer games can you suggest for us and that would also run good on her notebook?

What kind of genres is she into?

I tend to find MMORPG and RTS the best for extended periods of multiplayer gaming.

I'm quite enjoying the Star Trek Online game. One of my sons and I play a lot and, if you can get other friends/family involved, you can set up fleets to play. Of course, you both would pretty much have to enjoy Star Trek and space themes.

Racing and/or party games will do just fine
My girlfriend loves to play All Stars Racing (the Sega's version of Mario Kart, there's a PC version and it's not demanding at all) and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (yeah I know it's on the Wii, but still...) with me

Portal 2 will be coming out soon and will have a co-op mode, and you both could try some Team Fortress 2, since both use the Source Engine, neither will need an awesome PC to run just fine

if she's into fun short games you guys might try to play League of Legends, which you play online. 5vs5 or 3vs3 you can join the same team and work together.
it's basically a clone of DotA (warcraft 3) whithout the bugs and faster gameplay.
and the best thing: it's free!

Thank you for your replies guys. She likes to play anything especially if it's related to zombies. I think Left 4 Dead will be lots of fun, and also Worms Reloaded

any RPG in bed with your woman is far better than any of the games listed by HH members in this thread

L4D is more of a third person shooter imo than an RPG, but it is a lot of fun nonetheless!

You could always try DeadRising as well, but that's an RPG/FPS mix as well. Most zombie games I see tend to be like that.

The review was very nicely done. And, as it's almost a full year since the game was released, I can say that the game is much, MUCH different now in a "improved" way.

I wonder if it merits a re-visit from our very distinguished reviewer.
