Flatout 2

Hello I am new to this and just bought Flatout 2 and it loaded fine but when I go to play it it acts as if it is starting then notta I am running windows 7 and set it to play in win xp service pack 3 and still notta anyone have a solutions out there??

Have you patched the game?
