Mass Effect 3 to include multiplayer

Found this on the web. sounds legit. Though I am not RPG fan but at least I know the RPGs are mostly single player experience.

I don't know, they keep "streamlining" the game to death. I can't say I am at any level excited over this sequel. Adding a multiplayer could in theory be great for those who want it and not affect negatively all the rest. But I think we all know how things end up.
Time will tell.

Not me, I suck at photoshop. I just found the whole pic. The multiplayer must be Somthing EA want to force to increase game longivity and fight second hand sales. You know they forced it in Dead Space 2 and will most likely do in Mirror's Edge. During the last days I read that EA is getting more revenues from online games so they will concentrate on the online part.
Edit: I don't want to sound like anti EA but from the rushing of DA2 , whole Old Republic MMO thing, and now this . Sounds like EA want some easy money over quality games and you can't blame them for that, Money talks.

it's called getting greedy and sour at the same time.

Producing crap for the simple sake of screwing people out of their money to fill your own pockets..

money doesn't talk..... just look at all the bad money being thrown around today with "good talk" about it that has done utterly shit all..

Getting things done is what talks and walks...... producing garbage and claiming it to be gold result in the enevitable failure..... short term looks good..... criminal dwell on the short term with zero long term goals.

Leaving any "socialist" views aside, money of course talks. And if people like the game and buy it, they have won. It's too early to know if the game is going to be a good single player game or not. Let's wait for at least a few good previews.

Multiplayer is just there to prevent second hand game sales. Hopefully, they outsource it somehow so the creative team that did the first two games isn't wasting time on multiplayer no one asked for. I think we owe Bioware a little faith they gave us some awesome games so far I won't complain if they cap of the trilogy in fantastic fashion and throw in some multiplayer to keep me playing. This is one game that definitely is hard to replay once you've beaten the storyline and DLC's.

Cmon, Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, and both Mass Effect games give Bioware full license to do whatever the hell they want and we should trust them

they may get the privilege restored with SWTOR, DA3, or ME3, but at the moment, it's revoked (at least until they pay me for preordering DA2).

In the meantime, I am very excited for SWTOR

They re-used areas time and time again -- when you can memorize the layout of a cave and know exactly how to move everytime you enter it in a game, it breaks the immersion the game is supposed to make.

The combat completely removed all tactics from Origins -- it returned to a hack n slash fest, which, while not bad, is not what they billed the Dragon Age franchise as being (and was a 180 from the very-tactical DAO).

The story was weak with weaker voice actors -- while I enjoyed it and its lack of generic high fantasy, the choices you made had very little to no importance (relative to DAO).

The final boss was the same fight as the final boss from one of DA:O's DLCs. It was shipped with bugs (would not run on nVidia cards at high/max settings for weeks), the UI was annoying and out of place (they copied it from ME2 with no attempt to make it look medieval or high fantasy-esque at all). There are numerous other reasons. Was DA2 a "bad" game? No. But it was very mediocre, which is something Bioware should be ashamed of. They don't make mediocre games.
