It's the KID; Not the Video Game!!!
This kid, as you will read, was previously arrested twice for similar instances. As yet, I haven't read where his mother and father are....or were...at this time. Only his grandmother and great-grandmother, apparently, were home at the time.
Some reports I've read say he was playing, Halo, and got upset when he was told to stop playing and to do his chores. Here's one report..... Report: Teen Kills Great Grandmother Over Video Game | GamePolitics |

Re: It's the KID; Not the Video Game!!!
77 year old great-grandmother... 55 year old grandma... how old are the kids parents, why havent they dealt with the situation before it got so out of hand, and why isnt that kid in juvenile hall?

Re: It's the KID; Not the Video Game!!!
My own kids (four of them) can tell you that if anyone of them had put up a fuss if they'd been told to turn off the video game, the unit would have been off limits for a month for the first "offense." If there had been any subsequent issue the unit would have been given to Goodwill.
This happened only 30 minutes from where I live in the adjacent county. I'm still trying to find out just exactly where the parents have been. Maybe they aren't in the picture at all, but, if I find out, I'll update. |
