Types of Account Thefts
To quote from Blizzards own FAQ: "Blizzard Entertainment emails will never ask for your password." In fact, Blizzard asks that you forward them any suspicious emails to their hacks@blizzard.com address. Speaking of which, Blizzard only has 2 domains: blizzard.com, and battle.net (with variations of country, such as us.battle.net). So, if you get any emails that have a return address, or include hyper links to addresses that are NOT one of those 2 then it's definitely fake. |
