Just got around to installing this game last night and man am I hooked. The controls I agree where at first vary annoying. But I took my time and now they feel like second nature. Same goes for the camera. Again it pissed me off at first big time. But as I played the less I hated it and more I liked how it presented the game

The game is down right beautiful to and runs great with all things maxed at 1280x960 8xAF. Not a stutter anywhere yet . Needless to say that made my day considering my system

Now I just need to pick up the pervious 4 titles and catch up alittle on the story

Looks like a great game. I played SoulReaver and SoulReaver 2 and they rock!!!. This game is on my list now. Btw does anyone know how to get this MS Sidewinder to work on win xp?? I am pretty sure that the box says that it is only for win 98. Are there any win xp driver that i can look for??

If that Sidewinder is USB, you'll have no problems using it in XP....but there are NO special drivers from MS for it in XP, it will just detect it and work. No idea why they refuse to make profiler software for their own controllers in XP.

But if it's the old kind that uses the old controller port, it may not work properly. I had a problem where they would suddenly stop working in the middle of a game for no apparent reason. But it MIGHT work for you.....WinXP will detect it in the controller properties, it just may forget it's there when you're in-game.

Game Pad Required

Definitely pickup up a game pad if you plan on having any luck in this game. I was on the mist level for days until I picked up a new game pad yesterday. Picked up a Saitek P880...works great & have been playing for hours. Too addicted to Legacy to go back to Persia right now. ;-)

First game...other than F1 sims I have actually had to force myself to stop playing.
The Telekenetic/Reaver combos are friggin' cool as hell. Just pounding the living
crap out of everything.

And in the spritual realm...all that crying...people sound so lost...in so much pain.

I'm at Vorador's Castle now. I feel like the game is about to conclude. NOOOOOOOOOOOO...
Game is da' sh17. Driving my F1 buddies nuts about this game.
Heheh...heheh...heheh...
Using this as part of my Desktop. The Pillars of Nosgoth.

Mine is definitely the USB one. I guess it should work fine in win xp right. Thanks man I didn't know that it could work on win xp...... .........save me some money to not buy another gamepad.

digerati will become famous soon enough

The whole series of games has been great for me. It has always been grand looking forward to the next game to see the plot twists, character upgrades and graphic developments, and of course great voice acting. I'm not sure if it's available on the PC game but when you beat it on the Xbox you get to see the voice recording bloopers and stuff, it's great to finally see the series end, it was a wild ride.

That's what I thought too, but the official reponse is no, that's it, finito. Seems kind of weird to end on a cliffhanger like that >.<

I finally finished this game early tonight. To be honest it has to be one of the best games I've ever played. Now that I have a good gamepad I can finiish POP:SOT...just it'll same lack luster after this game.

Just started playing as well and it's excellent!! plus great storyline.
However AA doesn't seem to work. With and without AA the images look the same. Anyone get the AA to work in this game??

Tried it, horrible camera! Decent graphics till you look closely @ the textures. Definately needs a gamepad. That being said this game is about the storyline and characters as much as the gaming itself. I missed all the previous games and I was thinking of playing them. Soul Reaver does'nt appear to want to work for me. Anyone able to get it running on a radeon card? It crashes for me as soon as I click on the exe.

Anybody have a save just past this level? I am stuck right here...have been stuck...the
last 4-5 times I've booted up the game.

I normally hate getting cheats or whatever, but...F1 Season is about to start, and
I'd like to finish this game before then.

Little help?

lol... no i dont have a save past here... that part took me awhile to get.. you have to time the jumps to land in the middle of each platform... if you grab the sides it takes too long.. good luck!
