I had my doubts.... but damn...
I am really impressed so far..
Metriod Prime.... on the Gamecube.... most excellent.. The graphics are even comparible to that of the xbox.... and so damn smooth.. it's kinda scary... There's a few little things i thought were pracisely the way i saw them in the older games... But damn.... so far.. the game controlls are coming to me rather quite well.... takes a little getting used to..but.... i'm impressed.... Probably better then the Xbox/Halo controls... by a fair ammount It's taken the same ammount of time to pass the 1st level in Metroid Prime as it took me to pass the entire Super Metriod Game.... a well.... i'm loven it....

Metoid Prime is one of the best games ive ever played!!!
the unique control method makes it feel more like a huge adventure on an alien planet rather than just another FPS. Enjoy!

The default control set for Halo Xbox is arguably the best for any fps. (takes some getting used to of course)

I tried it on a demo machine at the mall recently...seemed ok grafics wise i just hated the controls...GC controler sucks....

considering that i have the world record for Super metroid..... you can easily tell that i love the series...... the old orginal is sweet... only able to hold 6 energy packs.... but there is 9 in total

Resident Evil Zero is a sweet game and remake is a great game also!
ive always loved the RE series, its just a shame they didnt bother to remake 2 & 3 in the end. Hey Judas, have you seen Metroid Fusion for the GBA? its another great Metroid Adventure.

you can unlock only the very original Metroid on the Cube
 and the bad thing is you need a GBA and Metroid Fusion and the cable to link GBA and Cube  you can also use the fusion suit in Prime

Glad you like your GC Judas, I picked one up myself when they were giving away MP with it a while back. I haven't found as many good games on it as on PS2 and Xbox, but the ones that are worth it are unbelievably good. Some games to look out for are;
Zelda (If you have a GBA it'll help you out alot with this one) Resident Evil(s) F-Zero Eternal Darkness Super Mario Viewtifull Joe |

Metroid prime i havent tried yet...not sure why. Other cube games that have been excellent are Zelda: Windwaker, Rogue Squadron (both), Res Evils.
If you like Sonic games, sonic adventure 2:battle is excellent...the last few levels are mindblowing some of the best 3d platform level/evil design. If you like Mario then Mario Sunshine is good, not as good as Mario 64 (it would be hard to be) but still better than most platformers. My other recommendation, though it does have a caveat, is Mario Kart: Double dash. You should probably only get this if you have a friend, or friends to play it with. 1 player is good, not great and only worth it at budget prices. 2+ player is phenominal. Brilliant game with 2 players. For those who havent got a cube yet, if you buy the one with the Zelda bundle (not wind waker) the collection of previous zeldas) then you get a great deal. Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask from the N64 are on it and they are 2 of the best games ever. OOT may be the best game ever...depends who you talk to. *edit, i hated Pikmin but if you like that sort of thing you should get it. My wife played that for 3days solid...like 12hous a day and loved it....so it must be ok. She did the same with StarFox Adventures too.* Stu |
