Hey all... I was wondering what the best OpenGL Renderer for UT is...I am using the default 432 one, all is Buttery smooth at 1600x1200 @ 75hz, on my 8500DV, but I tried NitroGL's TruForm UT renderer based on 436, and it was even better, aside from the graphical errors, which I assume are because of the TruForm mods.
So...which is the best? And where can I get it.

[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice]
RefreshRate=0 // Set the highest refresh rate that ur monitor will be able to handle depending on ur given resolution. DetailTextures=0 // I recommend setting this to "false" if u have set ur "lodbias" at -2 (it's maximum setting). The graphics quality increase isn't going to be noticeable if "lodbias" is already at that setting. I recommend setting this to "false" unless ur system can handle 'both' "lodbias" and this setting enabled/at max setting. UseTrilinear=0 // I recommend disabling this ("false") unless u are not having any fps problems enabling this. Graphics increase isn't worth the fps drop IMO. UseS3TC=1 // If ur using an card that can do S3TC, set this to "true". Otherwise set this to "false" UseTNT=0 // If ur using a TNT card or want to force your card to use only TNT features, set this to "true" LODBias=0 // Values range from -2 to 2. The lower the value, the better ur textures will look at the cost of performance. This is the line that fixes the lameness of UT's graphics when using the opengl raster. UseMultiTexture=1 // Set to "true" for better performance. UsePalette=1 // Set to "true" for better performance with no noticeable loss in graphics quality. UseAlphaPalette=1 // Set to "true" for better performance with no noticeable loss in graphics quality. Translucency=1 // Enables transulcent (c thru) textures VolumetricLighting=1 // This will enable or disable the fog effects on some maps. Few maps support this effect, so I recommend enabling this ("true") unless ur having problems on maps with fog effects. ShinySurfaces=1 // For levels with shiny surfaces or reflective surfaces. Few maps support this effect, so I recommend enabling this ("true") unless ur having problems on maps with shiny surfaces. Coronas=0 // This is for extra lighting or glare effect on light sources. Fps isn't much affected when this setting is enabled but at the same time it isn't noticeable even if it is disabled. Check it out urself and take ur pick. HighDetailActors=1 // Set to "true" for better looking transparency effect for players with power-ups. Disable ("false") for better performance but ugly looking players with power-ups. MaxAnisotropy=0 // This setting controls anisotropic filtering. Set x to 2 with an nVidia GeForce (1/2) graphics card & 16 with an ATI Radeon to enable anisotropic filtering for improved image quality. Although currently this setting has no effect (Apparently). Leave x set to 0 to disable anisotropic filtering for improved performance, or if your graphics card doesn't support it. AlwaysMipmap=1 // Set this to "true" if u want to enable mipmapping method for a slight increase in graphics quality. Disable ("false") for better performance. UsePrecache=0 // Set to "true" for faster loading. "False" if ur experiencing lock-ups or crashes during the caching state. SupportsLazyTextures=1 // Leave x set to 1, as this should reduce memory overhead. UseVSync=0 // Syncs to screen or not DisableSpecialDT=0 // Not sure what this setting does, but my fps didn't change even if this setting is enabled or disabled. I recommend setting this at its default "false" UseFilterSGIS=1 // This will help improve the multitexturing quality (if multitexturing is enabled). Enable for a slight graphics quality improvement with no noticeable slowdown on performance. Use4444Textures=0 // This is for those folks who are playing at 16bit. This could increase ur fps a bit if enabled ("true"). Set this to "false" if ur playing at 32bit. UseVertexSpecular=1 // Not sure about this one, but my guess is that enabling this will help increase ur fps. UseGammaExtension=0 // Set x to 1 & make any gamma adjustments before loading Unreal Tournament. Leave it set to 0 if you have no such issues. UseModulatedGamma=0 // Setting x to 1 will modulate a white texture on top of everything once the scene is rendered. This can improve game brightness but will make textures appear washed out & reduce performance. Set it to 0 at all times unless you are desperate for an increase in brightness. MinDepthBits=32 // sets the colour depth bits per pixel. Valid values are 16 or 32. Selecting 32 (If your video card supports it) will give best image quality, but slowest performance. Try setting x to 32 should you experience strange graphical issues. MaxLogUOverV=8 MaxLogVOverU=8 ShareLists=1 NOTE: I play with coronas turned off in case peeps hide in the flames - much easier to see and less distracting

Try UTgledit.....The utility comes with a modified opengl driver for UT..... You may want to try it out. It's fast and works great.
