I am almost ready to buy far cry, as the price is very good for a new game. Will it play ok on my system? I found the demo a little laggy at times.

9700pro, 2.4c at 3.0, kingston hyper X 256mb x 2 - so do I need more memory?

More memory wouldn't hurt, as it would reduce loading times. But you will definitely be able to play FarCry w/ most eye candy enabled.

yes jonis is correct even i need more memory lol as the game stutters for the first 20 seconds on every map load then its smooth sailing lol also i get no stuttering when i die and have to reload the map becuse its still in memory im glad about that :;P GUYS wait untill you see the VOLCANO map WOW its got to be the most intensive for any system the EYE candy is through the roof lol no matter what you sse in this game there is always something more eye candy than there was before lol that makes you go all WOW inside hehe

Well the game isnt here yet, i mean, where i life, but i just went yesterday to my gaming shop and i pre-ordered the game...and guess what...it comes whith a free Far Cry t-shirt... just have to wait a bit longer...
