The Final Fantasy for GC is supposedly based off from the anime series. As for which one to choose? Easy--go with the one that has the games that you like the best. All the other stuff doesn't mean anything if there is nothing that you really like to play for the console. Check out what is coming out in the future too, and base your decision on that.
