Toca race driver 2

Anyone else having problems with this?

It goes for a few seconds then freezes for a few seconds.... then goes for a few seconds... etc etc!!

It's very annoying!! unplayable

Well not for me.. runnin very smooth, i have surround sound disabled though
some answers here maybe?

In my Antec P160:
MoBo = Gigabyte GA7N400- L
PSU = Q-tec 550 watt
mem = 2x512mb 333mhz
Cpu = Amd Athlon 2400xp Tb-B (266)
HD = 2x WD- 800JB + 1200JB
Vid = Ati9700 driver: Cat. 4.4
OS = WXPpro sp2rc1 DX9b (all patched up)
CD-rw, DVD-r
Sound = Hercules FortissimoIII 7.1

ggrrrr.... I discovered the problem - the game doesn't like my sidewinder force feedback 2!!!! ffs! ah well.... I was planning on getting an analogue gamepad anyway.... this will just mean I go and buy one sooner!

Do you have a FF steering wheel? I know the demo wasn't good with an analog controller, but just like CMR 04, I'm wondering if this game is also really good with a wheel/pedals and crappy with even an analog controller....

no - it's good with analogue controller - but when I use mine - it freezes every few seconds

No using keyboard for all racing games, but it drove well with KB in the demo so i bought it
last time I used a racingwheel it broke off causing my chair(with wheels) to fly backward banging against my saloontable, and myself flying over the table ending up banging my head against a cabin..
So for some reason havent used those anymore...
