wtf has happened with driv3r? 5.4/10!?!

i just checked the xbox review of driv3r and it was 5.4/10 and user reviews were terrible too

luckily the ps2 version was rated higher by users but still this is NOT what i expected from what I heard and saw in trailers/screens

The game just sucks. Barely worth it even if you can find it for $20(it will be there soon btw)

Yeah, my bro got it-and returned it- yesterday for the Xbox and I got to tell you the gfx are NOTHING like screenshots. Forget about it how crap the game is if you're on foot(they took the saying 'stiff as a board' to a whole new level). I cant believe all the hype that went into this garbage. Just tells you that screenshots these day get more airbrushing that the playboy models lol. Go read the user reviews at EBgames.com

they said it would be like actual cities huge areas. i know gamespy criticized the outdoor shooting but nothing big.

Nah, they went a little too heavy with the physics I think, the cars feel like sliding monster trucks. You might like it though, I say until next month for a PC demo to try it out. But I think most of the budget went to the cutscenes, which are pretty cool.

i was really hoping that this would be as great as the original, ok i could understand the wierd shooting (maybe like james bond everything or nothing which is decent) but the reviews have like flamed this game pretty bad!

yea, the physics were heavy in the original too...but it is more realitic that way rather than like say gta's where there isnt much difference between the weights, just turning/accel/top speed stats.
