I've been racing online since we played last night- Got a lot of practice in.... But guess what?

My wheel's force feedback just quit!! No more feedback

The wheel still works, but all of the sudden during a race the motor just gave up, or maybe it's whatever controls the motor.. I have used it allot, but I didn't think it would wear out like that..

What a bummer.. Guess I'll have to save up for a MOMO- but I just bought ram so it will be a while..

I'm going to take it apart to see if anything obvious is wrong, like a loose solder point, but I doubt I'll find anything..

Oh well...

Mine sometimes does the same thing. Try CMR4 again, or try a different game. CMR4 FF is a little buggy.

Wow that was weird- It quit working during the game, then I rebooted and opened up the game controller properties and it still didn't' work- but after I unplugged it and plugged it back in it re-detected it.. Now it works fine..

It got really hot, so maybe it had a minor overheat or something and windows stop detecting it as a force feedback controller or something, or maybe like you said- CMR4 is just buggy..

Of course it is a PS2 (as in Playstation2) controller- so that might have something to do with it too..

Of well, back in business!

Well only 2 people have it and want to race online with us at DH- One other person would but he doesn't have broadband..

Pretty shitty response from DH for this game- but we have fun playing once in a while still.. You do need a wheel and pedals or it's no fun at all.

HOLY CRAP! They are showing some amazing wrecks! Also some great footage of awesome driving..

Too bad more people can't see this stuff- I can't wait to see it in the US live with my own eyes.. hopefully soon.

I sent you another PM but when asked to get a read receipt it only gives options yes or cancel- I hit cancel because I hardly ever ask for read receipts-

Anyway, not sure if you got the PM or not as I don't save sent messages..

So anyway- yeah i'll race, post back here if you still want to- It will take a few minutes to set up my wheel, but not long-
