Default Post thats funny.....

I was on a site earlier that said Novalogic had postponed the release of the demo indefinitely. It was first delayed by a day, and then changed to indefinite. Don't know how realiable that info was, but if that game is anything like Task Force Dagger, it will majorly suck ass. A CD would be better served as a beer coaster than a game disc for Task Force Dagger. Graphics: suck Enemy AI: Sucks Gameplay: Sucks. Ghost Recon is ten times the game Task Force Dagger is and has much more replay value and they cost the same money. Land Warrior was THE game in its time and I loved that game, and I certainly hope Nova can pull off another one, but maybe they should just stick to Air combat games. Guess I will go check out Nova's site and this game. If you get it, let me know what you think and Good luck

Default Post Thanks for the info....

I checked it out and it seems pretty cool. Graphics are much improved and they claim to have resolved the AI issues. That is comforting to know. The AI in previous games was pretty stupid and pretty much killed the fun by making it too easy. Sadly enough, it seems the article I read earlier was true....no demo. I really wanted to check it out. If you find a link to a working demo, post it here. I love these types of games and would really like to check it out.

Well i think they still use their vokel space engine, could be that thats hindering them from real high eye candy. they started out with gameplay over graphix with delta force. so mabie they need a new engine?.... one thing ill give them, they have the best online servers for multiplayer on the net. i only have 56k and never had any serious probs with them. maybie a little lag now and then, but nothing like gamespy

this is a new engine that they pieced together. Thier prerelease demos never quite look as good as the final product I remember nearly puking when looking at the prerelease demo of Land Warrior and then being pleasantly surprised with the final version.
