Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic problem

I can't seem to be able to use a light saber is there something I should or need to do? I've picked up many light sabers even one early on but it won't let me equip my character with one. I've went thought the Jedi renaming where I answered the questions, and built my own light saber.

I’m really confused have I missed something? I’ve already visited the star map on the training planet and the first planet. I got several light sabers.

It says I don’t have the prerequisites… Did I miss something?

I also have Jedi master light and dark robes and they have the same message….

bleh! you should be able to equip a light saber right after you make your first one. so something is really screwed up. maybe try patching it, thats all i can think of

the character to equip em to has to be in the 'jedi' class...like rogue etc. for some reason, it doesnt seem like it advanced you from 'soldier' at the beginning of the jedi academy. you may have to restart.

Hi, Neon,

At the beginning, I couldn't either. I had to complete the training levels first. (Also, just to be clear, the lightsabres won't show the laser until you get into combat....just in case you were expecting to see that. I don't think that's what you're saying, but just in case.)

And, as was mentioned previously, you do need to be in the Jedi-class to be able to even use one.

This is an EXCELLENT game! I'm eager to play through again after just completing it last night.

Finally, be sure to get the latest patch: 1.03.

I got that first... 1.03

I have 0 force and is still rates me as a level 0 jedi counslur...

only way i can make use of jedi powers is to use a member of my party

I selected Jedi class, Sentinel, for my character. Some Jedi powers are disabled unless you're wearing a Jedi robe.

I allready beat the game, level 20 soldgier

but i had no jedi powers, It would not let me equip any jedi equpiment, clothes, light sabers or other wise

oh well i'm done with the game anyways

thats ok the lightsabers were a bit loud anyways I used the cool sords the whole time
