just bought far cry :)

i just got far cry yesterday from best buy and i must say...THIS GAME ROCKS!!! my radeon 9500 pro can only handle it on medium-high settings, but it still looks gorgeous. i havent tried multiplayer yet. apparently, my game package seemed to be missing its manual. i was wondering if your games had manuals with it or did i get jipped? the number on the front of my cd case reads ######-FRT. is this the real cd key or should i just exchange it for another game?

im not asking for cd keys, and i bought this game legitimately, so please don't delete this post or ban me.

it does come with a manual,and the cd key is on the back of the manual but for me it was not asked for on installation.as i don't often play games online i don't know what far cry is like but id say thats where the cd key would then be asked to connect to servers.

yes, exchange it. the key is in the manual, and it will ask for it when you attempt to connect to a server.

Yeah I had to exchange too. Damn pirates steal the manual for the CD KEY so they can run the illegal version online.

On my copy the serial was on the back of the cd case and the manual was inside with cds. This is on the cd version though. But yeah, the game is definitely a looker.

just 40-80 bucks for some paper, cardboard and disc lol

It's a cracking game, it's kept me away from MOHAA for at least two weeks now LOL

and the wife, kids, cats, housework etc. OH BOY I am NOT in the good books at the mo.

yea, my bros copy of ut2k4 dvd ed. came with two cd keys...apparently teh machine that puts the stickers inside the case had two stuck together or something.

you buy games mostly for the developer's work that went into it, not for the box, manual, and cd - which cost almost nothing. i finally exchanged the game and im minutes away from trying out the multiplayer.
