For 1.1, does anyone else lag a whole lot in multiplayer? Cuz it really pisses me off and I don't know what is wrong even though my ping in <100. I hope 1.2 fixes it.

Wow... 65 megs...must fix a lot of bugs...Hey i was checkin out the readme and saw that it fixes a rendering issue with the Raddy 9600 series.??? iI have a 9600pro and the only issue i have experienced is the slight texture flickering while zoomed in with the binocs or scope.. But that happens on all kinds of cards?? I wonder what it fixes?

i keep getting this stupid error with every program that uses installsheild wizard GOD spiderman 2 juiced adobe 6.0.2 farcry 1.2

1607: unable to install installshield scripting runtime ...

and than when i try to fix it from what the site says the fixer wont install

I cannot connect to any server. Including the ones that are 1.2. I keep getting a box saying "Disconnected from server..." "Kicked!".

Pissing me off. Before that I had a cd-key thing because it kept saying the key was already in use.

can't say for sure at the moment. as im in the need for a reformat soon but that will be when i receive my x800pro.

has anyone have the same problem of the auto load after insertion of the disk slower than usual.

this happened after installing the 1.2 patch.

for those of you with 6800s, just download dx9.0c from MS and the 60 series drivers that support sm3.0 and you should be good to go to get all of the advantages out of this patch.

This I saw on HardOCP;

FarCry 1.2 Patch Issues:
Since posting the FarCry 1.2 patch yesterday I have received a ton of e-mail from ATi video card owners saying that FarCry, once patched, is booting them back to the desktop in both mutli-player and single player games. I installed the patch myself on both an ATi 9800XT box and a GFFX 5950Ultra box and sure enough my ATi box crashes to the desktop randomly. I called tech support and was told this:

We have received an alarming number of complaints from ATi card owners that are experiencing crashes after installing the 1.2 patch. The issue is being looked into. At this time we suggest re-installing your game without the 1.2 patch.

poor cry tek this new patch just fixes a few bugs and adds others (before bashing me look in other forums) i myself have experience i few as the movement when using the rail gun is fudge up and if you go to any dock and look at the reflections in the water, they are all out of wack, cry tek has a good engine but i believe it was rushed out this game will need a lot more patches, i wouldn't be surprise if by the time they patch this game up well it would have added another 500mb in patches to the game

by the way all these problems i'm having (including texture glitches in some areas) are on nvidia hardware so this is not an ati issue alone, i myself don't think anyone but Ubisoft is to blame for these problems

ive had only one crash myself on my 5900 once.the amount of time they delayed this patch was unfortunate.

Mine doesn't crash, or maybe it does, but I couldn't get past all the new graphical problems the patch added.

Yeah I noticed the rail gun movement was fudged. Also I'm now getting crashes.
