Sandok will become famous soon enoughSandok will become famous soon enough

I must say that mkk is right... Depends on the game + engine! I know a few games where 50 is total lag... Anyways, 30+ is fine with me! (as long as I don't get too much visible lag...)

It's true..

It's true that it depends on game and engine, that's why I said in games in general. In all my games, VSYNC is on or forced on..unless it dips towards 30s

I only play UT2004 and UT99, for which my current system is adequate to get me 72+ fps. Only in the heaviest gamemodes (assault & onslaugt) my fps will sometimes drop below that so i've ordered my new system last week
Funny thing is, in FarCry singleplayer, 40 FPS is smooth as silk.

I play RTCW and ET most so I need to be ableto lock the fps at 43 or 76 or 125 in order to jump higher (on to boxes and such) so 76+ would be best because 43 can be noticeable sometimes.

LOL. You play RTCW? What servers? I used to play that so much, but not as much anymore. I was RTCW hardcore, but I never felt the need to exploit the jumping bugs
