DH UT 2004 Server Poll

So what mods would you like to see on the server, or if you just want straight UT 2004. Currently I'm running Quadjump, and Sniper rifles cause I hate the lightning gun as a standard always on mod. However I'm wondering for those of you who've played with it, if you prefer the super berserk weapons, or not and if you prefer the Zark rifle or not, or some other combination. So let me know and I'll set er up accordingly.

For the next couple of days the Server will be running Excessive overkill, Mr Pants if anyone remembers from the UT days. Also bombing run has been added to the rotation so jump on and let me know what you think!

I think you should run Chaos CTF.

I like it the way it is, but Low gravity is a good mutator.

Genman I'd run Chaos CTF but not everyone haas it and I'm not hosting 500MB of files. If I ran a dedicated Chaos and a UT that'd be one thing but I can't see hosting all those files...

don't host any of the major files.... don't host bonus packs... it's stress on your server... and on your webspace making it kind of useless... If there is a download for Chaos CTF.... provide a url in the MOTD

btw... if anyone downloads from a server the bonus pack.. they themselves can't play them.... (kinda bites)

Which is great.. but my ping is 160~180 ms. Damn my DSL

The Excessive..is too Excessive for me LOL

had the same problem with Ghost recon Mods crash the game, you needed 512 or 1.5/upline for a full 32/person game with mods

Ok, I'm seeing Zark + berserk even with Other, what other? Have you all gotten to try out excessive? I think that gets my vote at least for like CTF might be a bit too much for DM. Chaos I'm not running unless there are a lot of people that want it. Give me some suggestions on the other.

can't you just redirect the server ? way easier and sparing your own banwidth, you'd only have to find a location which hosts UTChaos.

If that fails compression is another option that'll save lot's of bandwith and downloadtime for people who not have it.

I am redirecting the server, but Chaos is HUGE. I like instagib as an option, I'll put that in mapvote.
