WARNING TO ALL, My server let alone my connection for a period of possible 1 or 2 hours will be fluctuating... due to maitanence...

Server will still run, but the internet connection may be on and off periodically.... so just a warning.. don't get mad or think my server sucks if your getting bad results

good game last nite, guys, those who were there: Poopy, Sniper (lchevy), Judas, and some others that i forgot their names. U guys rn't bad for some old timers...hehehe

Ps: I didn't even 'spam' with the AVRIL and still kicked some booty...

btw.... i'm still messing with my controls... it's hard as hell doing combos with the primary being the primary mouse button and the alternate being the mouse wheel button.... while the secondary mouse button is for jumping.... massive amount of finger work.... but i'm better at doing it like that then using the spacebar or messing around...

Currently having some ISP issues that are still in the process of being worked out...

just 30 minutes ago... my ISP came out and completely REPLACED my entire cable line going from the house out to the main router (router? ) with some brand spanking RG-6 new cable... They know there are some weird "fluctuations" in the signal strength AND frequency causeing abnormal results....

started about 5 days ago.... bandwidth has been severly hindered... on occasion i will end up with some SHOCKING speedy results... but it's only occasionally.... These shocking results are what my connection is saposed to be like... (sub 30ms pings to poopy's server, 5mb and at times, 2mb up)

lol... and having some weird issues with the omega 4.8's.... ATM.... every day brings some weird issues...... reformat this weekend IF the omega 4.9's show there face!

oh, and BTW Drakon,

The last game i played, were i ended up winning.. (although the death toll for me was way high)..... was probably one of the worst cases for multiplayer gaming.. I haven't a CLUE how i won.....

back ..... i'm not currently sitting with a "fully Alchaol shined case and componnents..

i think i found my cause for reboots and other things... but to be sure... i took back my 9800pro and ended up with another however, with a R360 core (YEAH! BABAY!)...

i ripped the northbridge cooler of my motherboard... cleaned off the goop and put some Artic Cremique (i just bout a tube today and i've probably used 1/4 of it)... on it... Put it back together.. ripped my heatsink and cpu apart.... found out that i must have not been completely awake or experienced enough at the time to not peel off the "thermal" pad that comes with the barton 2500+..... what a sticky mess.... cleaned it up... Spattered Arctic C there...

cleaned the entire front and backside of the motherboard with alchaol... each capasitor..... everything..... (cables... PSU...Sound Card)

Ripped open my new 9800 pro..... pulled the heatsink... cleaned it up... discovered "R360" and was rather happy..... i hoped my luck would still kick later.... slap some Arctic C on it as well.... put it together... spent a good hour routing my wireing all up... trying to setup the best case of fans using what leds and dedicated leds to what...

long story made short... had problem... did everything thinkable to fix it.... and so far.... i think the machine is running not only cooler (nocked 11*C off my CPU already, wonder how it'll go when it burns in)

Checked my PSU out good as well..... my rails are more stable now... instead of my CPU V going from 1.69 down to 1.55 and up and down again..... it's pretty solid at around 1.63-1.68 .... .03 variants... not bad.. but still could do better....

Now to test it out... should actually reinstall windows though... i might OC the CPU later on... if my rails will sit steady.... (RETAIL HEATSINK, pushing 2500 to 3000 ATM at 39*C)

WEll, had some issues switching maps last night on one map but we got through it, and I think I know how to stop that in the future, I misspelled a map name in the ini. Doh! However only a small turnout last night it was still a lot of fun with me, Lchevy, Drakon, and Gutterpunk. We ran through three games of DM, 3 of CTF instagib and 3 of Assault with the winner of course eligible for a custom skin on the map. Scores follow here,
DM- Drakon=95, Lchevy=66, Gutterpunk=64, PoopyTheJ=63
CTF- Drakon 217, PoopyTheJ=180, Lchevy=165, Gutterpunk=155 (Damn Drakon and Gutterpunk got some frags on RomraMoon station Wow! Scores from frags alone beat Sniper and I although we took the flag 3 times)
AS-PoopyTheJ=176, Drakon=145, Gutterpunk=102, Sniper=50
Drakon and Gutterpunks AS-Junkyard was mesmerizing btw, wish I would have saved a movie

.

So with the final score of 457 Drakon walks away the new Champion and the owner of a shiny spanking new custom skin for use on the server. Just let me know what you want to use Drakon send me over the file and I'll set it up.

Hopefully we will get a bit better turnout next week, we'll run the standard DM-CTF rotation our third gametype will be ONS, possibly Excessive or Berserk+Zark. Hopefully next week we'll see Judas in his fixed up rig and I think Garm's back from vacation so we should have some battles on our hands, come by and see what we've got!

the last assault was a classic lol we did 3 circles in the vehicle befoe it ended we had no clue where to go lmao

WEll chaos hopefully this will overcome your boredom for next week, I think if a mod would be kind enough to sticky the scores from each week that would be great, hint hint Judas, also for next week besides the custom avatar for the server the winner will recieve a stick of Crucial PC2700 Ram 256MB. I've got it and no use for it, so I'm dedicating it to a good cause. So lets see you all next week and PM me with your intention of joining!

i can start the thread... but i can't sticky it..

(enless someone admin is willing to put me on the list for the gaming forum)

btw..... although i'm having less problem ATM.... i'm still having some.. yesterday got a BSOD for no apparent reason..... and my CPU Voltage started going beserk... new PSU is in order i due believe..... i knew i was pushing the one i currently have to far..... damn.....
