bah, still haveing ISP probs... worked good for about 3 days then started fluxing out like crazy.... from there end they said everything is solid and stable.....
i think i'll replace my PSU and then my ROUTER ...and then see...

All right, the Call Of Duty - United Offensive server is online, advertised and ready to go, get on there and let me know how it's running, ping/lag issues, map rotation voting any problems let me hear about em and I'll get on em, should be playing some later with Lchevy79 and Texas Nemesis, but I need to know how the lag is if it's worthwhile for me to keep the server running or stick with UT2004, so anyways it's up, get some game on!

Poopy and i have been working and i think we've setup some more "realistic" bots...
We both need feedback on how the perform, if they show up correctly... cause any problems... or if they are still stupid or whathave you... So far Poopy is the only one having the model problem.... (all showing up as the same exact default model... "jacob" i beleive") Anyways.... Hopefully they are more "player" like and more fun to play with. I've ran through half a dozen or more maps through various modes.. and they appear to be working rather well.. AND fun...

OK, working with poopy on this bot issue dealy... (IF SOMEONE KNOWS)
we want to make a specific UPL file a NESSITY for anyone attempting to join (automatic download on connection) however we not quite sure how to do this ATM... were still kinda playing with the server.. poopy should have more info (we've been switching from default bot list to the new improved and back again a few times) in the mean time, if someone attempts to join the server and all the playmodels look identical (using the default male/female skins such as JACOB and the other "chik" for all the plays...) then you need this file: http://driverheavenuploads.co.uk/Jud...verBotsUPL.zip simply download (SUPER SMALL) and extract to your UT2K4 DIR... then join the server...

Actually after working with Judas on this, the guys a whiz at setting up Bot Skills BTW, we've figured out we need to add some config lines to the server's INI file, it should have nothing to do with your UPL file, hopefully! So until we get this sorted out you're gonna see a lot of bots using default skins with some updated characteristics but it's still not quite finalized, Judas is working on setting up the Bot skills, and I'll get the ini updated as soon as possible right now I'm coughing up a lung so I'm heading off to bed, but just wait till you see how these bots are gonna work.....

OK, Heres the deal, you join the server without my UPL (post just above poopys) and you'll get default skins.... (all jacob or what havey ou)
you join with and the skins will show up.. what the difference? only the skins... the bot intelligence is the same regardless..... oh... btw... Poopy game up with with some of the more colorful names... i didn't

I'm most likely not going to make it to the fragfestives tonight.... due to my machine finally kicking the bucket i think...
I'm going to try... Currently making backups of nessary info and files.... moving them throughout and onto the main server hardrives..... I'll be TEARING my machine appart along with my server... (harvest parts from the server machine) I have a theory though.. My plan is to move 3 30gb Maxtors into the server along with my currently main rig motherboard so i can setup raid 0 spanning across all the hardrives (should produce some pretty nice results) make a few dozen adjustments and get my main rig full operational FIRST... Then i'll work on the server But i'm going to be real busy as it will involve a third machine which will require a full reinstall of everything.. (grr) Not a very kind road ahead of me atm.... hopefully i have no problems pull heatsink... cpus...motherboards..... you name it out of 2 machine.... and doing FULL fresh installs on them all ANYWAYS... servers down... and i'll get it back up asap.... but don't hold your breath.... i don't know when i'll get it up or if i can... (i'm going to see if my crashes are directly related to my PSU or not by moving alot of parts from one rig to another) Wish me luck.... BTW.. poopy, on occasion i'm seeing a "bale" or some odd bot showing up... i might have given you a older UPL list (don't worry about it... )Also, Poopy, heres a link to the entire list of "crosshatch" onslaught Link setups... i've tuned a few of them and made a crosshatch version for every map (i think) http://driverheavenuploads.co.uk/Jud...sHatchV0.1.zip replace the older files Anyways.... i'm out.... hopefully i'm heard from in 4-8 hours!

Okay you guys should check out the node setups Judas came up with very nice, also I setup VCTF for use with the new vehicles, should make things very interesting, grabbed some new maps to put up on the server, overall things are looking pretty good.
Servers a bit laggy as I'm uploading maps to the redirect now.... 4:15pm EST

Added the CBP2 bonus packs and the ECE bonus packs together into one file and put them on the ftp pending Tasty's approval server will be down while it uploads, compressed the hell outta it with 7 zip so it may take a while to extract but easier to get it from there. Cheers!

I am currently very time contrained between family and work and have had very little time to take care of figuring out the COD:UO server to maximum efficiency anyone with information about it please forward it to me, I'm trying to get the Bonus packs for UT2k4 all in one place on the DH ftp as well, so it's easier for you all to get on the server. Also thinking about setting up a Tribes vengeance server whcih frankly myself I'm more interested in that COD. Just fits my play style better and I've heard so very many good things about it. Give me some feedback let me know what you prefer, Probably gonna switch the fragfest to friday nights as we seem to get better turnouts on Fridays than saturdays anywho also. Let me hear what you guys want and I'll do my best with the time I have to get it going. Thanks!

i've made a Umod Auto Installer with a good amount of maps that i'm running on the server..... YOU STILL REQUIRE all 4 official bonus packs from Epic, but this one is optional, IF you don't download and install it.. you'll be able to still connect to the server and play but any map that you don't have will auto download from the redirect (so far the maxium download file size i've come across is 7mb using redirect)
get this and installing it will prevent any chance of running into the "waiting for download" while others play.... download, open the zip.. and double click the Umod i put in there.... It should auto install everything to there rightful place (just click next through the installer)... join the server and good stuff

UT2003 Dedicated server is ONLINE....
Will add new maps and whatnot LATER PLEASE.. jump on and test out all the settings... apon joining.. hit HOME key and set your VOTE MENU to your favorite vote key... try out the mutators and game/arena modes... Let me know about the bots as well (i'm having a hard time adjusting ANY of them... alot easier in UT2004 that's for sure)
