doom3 technical thread and my problem

mhh every time there a cut scenes my computer freezes and sound plays but video is not rendered and is stuck at one fram then plays with no sound etc... or it hangs for ages.

sometimes during playing it freezes for 5 seconds but has not happened ofter and is random. just the cutscences dont work.

weird weird....

my computer has has its period the last 2 days. well pms'y

In the "Video quality" setting- Set it to high instead pf ultra (or whatever is first)- I think that setting is just for the cut scenes.. I have similar system, and had the exact same problem until I put in a gig of ram earlier today, now it's smoothed right out, but since you already have a gig of ram, that isn't it--
Try that video quality setting and tell me what happens..
