I've composed a little guide to Tweak Unreal Tournament to make it run better on most computers. (for those that play UT.)

Note: This is not for UT2003, or 2004. I'm talkin' about the good ol' UT.

some of the settings, they set in the openGL config is erm... not what you'd use on a radeon that's for sure...

currently 1600x1200@6xFSAA and 16xAF with S3TC on (extra high res textures from second cd)

300fps..... and looks damn beautiful

I've GOT the S3TC set of textures for the game, tried 'em out and found that they don't work well with a lot of the custom maps. (makes players just kinda slide around.)

that's very very strange.... i'm not sure how loading up higher resolution textures would effect the physics of the engine....

BTW... are you using a different OpenGL driver for UT.... because if you aren't.. majority of those settings won't even work at all...

Just the OpenGL driver that I've found that works the best. (Epic's one sucks.)
