Sad MOH Pacific Assault Problem on Mobility 7500

Hey guys,

I was trying to run the MOH Pacific Assault demo on my system, that has a ATI Mobility 7500 video card, WinXP SP2 & DirectX 9.0c drivers and 2.5 Ghz Pentium IV processor. However, the demo shows a dialog box before starting and states that my graphics card (the Mobility 7500) is not compatible with DirectX 8.1 or higher. It's a new laptop, just a year old, yet, it complains Is there any way to tweak it so that I can still play the demo, and bypass that "error"?

Thanks!

Sorry, the demo requires at least a DirectX 8 compliant card.
The Mobility Radeon 7500 is only DirectX 7 compliant.
I think you might be below the minimum video memory amount, too.

Oh I see

What about my other computer, it's a AMD Athlon 1.4 GHz, with NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 200 display card? Would that be compliant or not ? Thanks for helping out!

Cheers

Nope, the GeForce2 MX 200 is only DirectX 7 also.
Here is a list of all major desktop cards in recent memory, and info about them.
separate pages for ATI, Nvidia, 3dfx, etc..
the first table on each page contains the column "DirectX suppport"
