As promised, the single-player demo for TRIBES Vengeance is now available, offering the chance to strap on yur jetpack and fly solo to sample Irrational Games' imminent installment in the science fiction shooter series. The one-level demo is a 374 MB download.

god, i cant wait for this...i played tribes 2 for a bit...this is bringing back memories...oh god its gonna be great!!!

The online beta is great! But the demo being an "arena" makes me kind of suspicious that all of the levels are like that. Plus, the SP demo wasn't fun, but atleast it holds true to the Tribes legacy.

i didnt love it for the fun aspect (it was kinda fun though)...but it was so nostalgic hahha...and i dont have access to the beta

so its the closest i can get.

time to go on spin-fuser killing sprees again. I remeber making the most insane shots with it, watchign someone FAR off in the distance then firing that thing and getting them. Greatest rush I ever got in a game..

The MP beta is pretty cool. The netcode can use some work but overall it's surprisingly stable. We'll see what the final product looks like next month.

Looks like Xfire doesn't support the beta. It's not in the game list.

I was on T:V the other night and a friend IM'ed me through Xfire -- needless to say I was tossed back to the desktop midgame and died.
