PainKiller PLAY Disk Easy to Make....
I'm one of those who simply detest having to use my original CD to play games with. So, some of you may be interested in knowing that there's a really simple and easy way to make one with PainKiller 1.3.1....
At first, I tried simply making a Copy of the CD. That failed since I'm not using one of the 'cracker' CD copiers that you download. Rather, I'm using a conventional CD/DVD copier program. All I had to do was to Copy the contents of the PK_3 disk to the project. Then, make sure to make the title exactly: PK_3 Burn the disk and use it. With patch 1.3.1, I'm able to playing LAN sessions on computers using both 98SE and XP Home without any problems at all. I'm not sure yet about Online playing, though. But, at least I'm able to keep my original in tip-top shape this way. |

Cool deal! I have mentioned this before, but I usually use clone cd to make an image of the cd on my harddrive and run it with daemon tools. That seems to work fine for most of the games that I have. It also does not require me to obtain a no-cd crack.
