digerati will become famous soon enough

Not big news. You could get a free keyboard adapter if you ordered one when you purchased Phantasy Star Online.

i dont understand the point of people using usb for their keyboards and mice...i was under the impression that it actually had slower response than the ps/2 ports..

AFAIK, for mice, it is faster with USB port ...... not sure about for keyboards, though...

ehhh not a big fan of it.. I could never find a place to put those things when I play my Xbox... I'd rather use the controller...

with USB you can have more than 4 keys hit at once. On PS\2 they only support 4 buttons held down at once. Now the way they get around it on keyboards is that it has onboard cache on many of the MS keyboards. You'll also notice that in alot of programs, if you hold down 6 or 7 keys or something, it wont make repeating keys like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeee. It'll just give you one key for each.

USB is usually best for all of the stuff unless you have a weakass processor. even 500mhz should be more than enough.

USB 2.0 has some of the best driver sets in existence. It's so much faster and more direct than ps/2...but Parallels can have Nintendo controllers plugged into them with the right mod!

xbox needs freaking keyboard, they've gotta compensate for their controller with poor PC ports of games (which is the majority of their library)
