System Shock 3?
But why even look back at System Shock 2 at this point? Because Irrational has been, and it plans to make a related announcement this Friday (tomorrow). The studio has decided that it wishes to further what it started in System Shock 2--to work on games that promote "emergent" gameplay--open-ended exploration that offers many choices and combinations of options to players. You'll see what we mean tomorrow. Be sure to come back then.

System Shock 1 & 2 are fantastic games, sadly few people seem to have played either. I'll never forget how realistic the sound was listening through headphones on my old Diamond mx300 aureal sound card. Would love to see more games either in this series or following the concepts of ss2.

It's a shame that Looking Glass went under, my favorite game development house. Good thing Irrational Games is still around, if someone was to make a System SHock 3, I hope it would be them, they did do most of the work on SS2, anyways.

i will buy this game no questions asked.
System shock 2 was one of the best games ive ever played, i was really dissapointed when it ended :P but it was a game you could play over and over with different classes and strategies. |

well its not really a sequel to SS, or even related to SS.... but still bioshock looks like it could be quite good.
