Tribes Vengeance / COD:UO

Well, It's out, I've heard so much about it and yet very little here on DH, how many of you are playing it? I've never played a TRibes game before but I've heard so much about this that I'm pretty psyched and it fits right in with my UT2K4 playing style that I'm really wanting to crack this open and give it a whirl also thinking about a server getting setup for it. But How many of you are playing it or plan on playing it? Reviews, benchmarks anything? I'm gonna benchmark this as soon as I can and like to see what others on other platforms are getting, also I'd like to know if there's more interest in COD:UO or this for a dedicated server, neither has been setup yet as I have NO time right at the moment to learn adminning on a completely new platform, as soon as I can dig into either one, whichever has the most support I'll put up, frankly I'm concerned about the bandwidth requirements with all the particles in COD, my bandwidth is not optimal for a large scale Dedicated server but is great for a smaller more intimate DH only server. Let me know what to do, I'm also posting this in the dedicate server thread so take a look think about it and let me know your requests!

I bought Tribes: Vengeance within 48 hours of release and have been playing it a ton

Graphicaly it will eat your machine like no tomorrow at high res/maxed graphics. Neither my dual xeon 3.06GHz/r9800pro nor my roomate's socket T 3.0GHz P4/x600xt can do 1600x1200 maxed out, and even 1280x1024 is difficult with full shadows sm2.0

but gameplay wise it is a brilliant game and is as fast paced as any. it has some of the more inovative gameplay i've ever seen, with the mobile spawn ponts, grappling hooks, skiing, deployable defenses(turrets, mines, etc), and the ability to knock out radar/power(aka - uber base-rape)

i HIGHLY reccomend it. if your hardware can do UT2k4, it'll do this at slightly lower graphics settings

tribes is very fun...though i havent been able to pick it up yet. not sure if i will either...ive been playing less and less pc games lately. it is very very good though...its all about the MP aspect.

No addt'l server on the horizon right now unfortunately as my family and job are taking up most of my "free" time.

I agree, this game is very sweet and a lot of fun. It's light years ahead of Tribes 2 in the gameplay department. If you guys setup a server I'll join in and get my rear kicked

New Game type apparently, you run around and get fuel and take it back to your depot, have no clue if it's possible to empty the o0ther sides though
